The wings are the best part, spread wide enough that it looks like it's about to take off. Painted feathers have this layered detail I keep noticing from different angles. My desk finally has a proper centerpiece.

The hippogriffe now sits on my bookshelf and honestly the wings are the best part — they're spread wide like it's mid-flight, not stiff like some figurines I've bought. For a creature that's supposed to be too proud to approach, it looks pretty majestic from across the room.

Picked this up for my desk at work and the detailing on the feathers is genuinely nice for the price. Only thing is it's lighter than I expected, so I'd be careful near an open window.
