The wizard's staff is carved with such care that it looks like gnarled wood from an old forest, and his beard has a realistic flow. My kid immediately started inventing backstories for him, which is exactly what I wanted.

Set it on my bookshelf next to the window and the green and purple robe really pops in the afternoon light. The staff he leans on is sculpted cleanly and the pose makes him look mid-journey through the kingdom.

The pointed hat and long white beard are sculpted with way more detail than I expected for the price. He's been sitting on my bookshelf next to my fantasy novels for a week now and I keep catching myself glancing at him. The staff and robe really sell the whole wandering wizard look.
