Oiseau extraordinaire, le Phénix arbore un plumage aux couleurs chatoyantes, mélange de rouge, de bleu et d'or, lui donnant l'allure d'un oiseau de feu. On dit qu'il ne peut n'en exister qu'un seul à la fois et qu'il vitruet plus de 500 ans. Ne pouvant se reproduire, lorsque le Phénix sent sa fin venir il se confectionne un nid à base de branches aromatiques et d'encens auquel il met le feu. Ainsi il se consume dans les flammes, avant de renaître de ses cendres.
