Ballerine et son danseur

The way the dancers' bodies angle toward each other creates such a believable sense of movement, even after weeks on my shelf. I especially love how the ballerina's tutu is sculpted so it catches the light differently at different times of day.

My daughter spotted the little ballet slippers on the figures and immediately started practicing her own arabesques. She’s been playing with this set for the last two days straight, carefully posing them in different dance steps from the description.

The way the arabesques and jetés are captured mid-motion is so graceful, it feels like the music is still playing. My daughter hasn't stopped staring at the little slippers since we unpacked it — the detail on them is truly lovely.
